Inspired by the Nine Eagles Solo Pro, WL-Toys introduced their first V911 in late 2011. It was their first RC helicopter release and it was an instant success. Overall, the original V911 was a really good bundle. However, misses include the fragile wire-thin skids, versatile body, glued components, noisy cover, flybar strikes, bucking horse flights, incapability to penetrate wind, hypersensitive yaw, and the nostril diving flight characteristics. 
At first look, WL-Toys definitely addressed the frame and skids. The body is now a lot stronger, and so are the touchdown skids. The skids are attached to the frame by 2 screws, so they received’t simply get separated. The canopy is much lighter and extra flexible than earlier than.
