Inspired by the Nine Eagles Solo Pro, WL-Toys introduced their first V911 in late 2011. It was their first RC helicopter launch and it was an on the spot success. Before long, the V911 is a household name. Since its preliminary release, the V911 infamous “CORTER” typo and the separating swash plate had been mounted. The Rx has gone by means of many revisions for minor tweaks, and the battery connectors have been modified. Otherwise, the basic V911 design was untouched since its introduction. WL-Toys then shifted their focus to Quadcopters. Despite its big success, the unique V911 shouldn't be without flaws. This V911-Pro is a long overdue replace and an attempt to repair issues. Overall, the original V911 was a very good package. However, misses include the fragile wire-thin skids, versatile body, glued elements, noisy cover, flybar strikes, bucking horse flights, incapability to penetrate wind, hypersensitive yaw, and the nostril diving flight traits. 
At first glance, WL-Toys undoubtedly addressed the frame and skids. The body is now much stronger, and so are the touchdown skids. The skids are hooked up to the frame by 2 screws, in order that they received’t simply get separated. The canopy is much lighter and extra flexible than earlier than.
