Inspired by the Nine Eagles Solo Pro, WL-Toys introduced their first V911 in late 2011. It was their first RC helicopter launch and it was an instant success. Overall, the unique V911 was a very good package deal. However, misses embrace the delicate wire-thin skids, versatile frame, glued parts, noisy canopy, flybar strikes, bucking horse flights, inability to penetrate wind, hypersensitive yaw, and the nostril diving flight traits. 
At first look, WL-Toys definitely addressed the frame and skids. The body is now a lot stronger, and so are the touchdown skids. The skids are hooked up to the frame by 2 screws, so that they won’t easily get separated. The canopy is much lighter and more versatile than before.
