Overall, the unique V911 was a very nice bundle. However, misses include the fragile wire-thin skids, flexible body, glued elements, noisy canopy, flybar strikes, bucking horse flights, lack of ability to penetrate wind, hypersensitive yaw, and the nose diving flight characteristics. 
At first look, WL-Toys definitely addressed the frame and skids. The body is now much stronger, and so are the touchdown skids. The skids are connected to the frame by 2 screws, so that they received’t simply get separated. The canopy is way lighter and extra versatile than before.
