Overall, the original V911 was a very nice package. However, misses include the delicate wire-thin skids, versatile body, glued elements, noisy canopy, flybar strikes, bucking horse flights, incapacity to penetrate wind, hypersensitive yaw, and the nostril diving flight characteristics. 
At first look, WL-Toys undoubtedly addressed the body and skids. The body is now much stronger, and so are the landing skids. The skids are connected to the body by 2 screws, so they won’t easily get separated. The canopy is much lighter and extra flexible than earlier than.
