Inspired by the Nine Eagles Solo Pro, WL-Toys launched their first V911 in late 2011. It was their first RC helicopter release and it was an instant success. Overall, the unique V911 was a very good package deal. However, misses embrace the delicate wire-thin skids, versatile frame, glued elements, noisy canopy, flybar strikes, bucking horse flights, incapability to penetrate wind, hypersensitive yaw, and the nose diving flight traits. 
At first look, WL-Toys definitely addressed the frame and skids. The frame is now a lot stronger, and so are the touchdown skids. The skids are attached to the frame by 2 screws, so they received’t easily get separated. The canopy is way lighter and extra flexible than before.
