Overall, the original V911 was a very good package deal. However, misses embrace the delicate wire-thin skids, flexible body, glued parts, noisy canopy, flybar strikes, bucking horse flights, inability to penetrate wind, hypersensitive yaw, and the nostril diving flight characteristics. 
At first glance, WL-Toys positively addressed the frame and skids. The body is now a lot stronger, and so are the touchdown skids. The skids are connected to the body by 2 screws, so they received’t easily get separated. The cover is much lighter and more flexible than before.
