Inspired by the Nine Eagles Solo Pro, WL-Toys launched their first V911 in late 2011. It was their first RC helicopter launch and it was an immediate success. Overall, the unique V911 was a really good package. However, misses embody the delicate wire-thin skids, versatile frame, glued components, noisy canopy, flybar strikes, bucking horse flights, inability to penetrate wind, hypersensitive yaw, and the nostril diving flight characteristics. 
At first glance, WL-Toys definitely addressed the body and skids. The body is now a lot stronger, and so are the landing skids. The skids are hooked up to the frame by 2 screws, so they won’t simply get separated. The canopy is far lighter and extra flexible than before.
