Inspired by the Nine Eagles Solo Pro, WL-Toys launched their first V911 in late 2011. It was their first RC helicopter launch and it was an instant success. Before long, the V911 is a household title. Since its initial release, the V911 notorious “CORTER” typo and the separating swash plate had been fixed. The Rx has gone by means of many revisions for minor tweaks, and the battery connectors have been modified. Otherwise, the essential V911 design was untouched since its introduction. Overall, the original V911 was a very good package deal. However, misses embody the delicate wire-thin skids, versatile frame, glued parts, noisy cover, flybar strikes, bucking horse flights, incapacity to penetrate wind, hypersensitive yaw, and the nostril diving flight characteristics. 
At first glance, WL-Toys undoubtedly addressed the frame and skids. The frame is now a lot stronger, and so are the touchdown skids. The skids are hooked up to the frame by 2 screws, so that they gained’t easily get separated. The cover is far lighter and extra versatile than before.
