Inspired by the Nine Eagles Solo Pro, WL-Toys introduced their first V911 in late 2011. It was their first RC helicopter release and it was an instant success. Overall, the unique V911 was a very nice package deal. However, misses include the delicate wire-thin skids, versatile body, glued elements, noisy canopy, flybar strikes, bucking horse flights, inability to penetrate wind, hypersensitive yaw, and the nostril diving flight characteristics. 
At first glance, WL-Toys positively addressed the body and skids. The body is now much stronger, and so are the landing skids. The skids are hooked up to the body by 2 screws, in order that they received’t simply get separated. The cover is way lighter and more versatile than before.
