Inspired by the Nine Eagles Solo Pro, WL-Toys introduced their first V911 in late 2011. It was their first RC helicopter launch and it was an immediate success. Before long, the V911 is a household title. Since its preliminary launch, the V911 notorious “CORTER” typo and the separating swash plate have been fixed. The Rx has gone by many revisions for minor tweaks, and the battery connectors have been modified. Otherwise, the fundamental V911 design was untouched since its introduction. WL-Toys then shifted their focus to Quadcopters. Despite its huge success, the unique V911 just isn't with out flaws. This V911-Pro is a protracted overdue update and an attempt to repair issues. Overall, the original V911 was a very nice bundle. However, misses embrace the fragile wire-thin skids, versatile body, glued parts, noisy cover, flybar strikes, bucking horse flights, incapacity to penetrate wind, hypersensitive yaw, and the nose diving flight traits. 
At first look, WL-Toys definitely addressed the frame and skids. The body is now much stronger, and so are the touchdown skids. The skids are connected to the frame by 2 screws, so that they gained’t easily get separated. The canopy is much lighter and extra flexible than before.
