Inspired by the Nine Eagles Solo Pro, WL-Toys introduced their first V911 in late 2011. It was their first RC helicopter release and it was an immediate success. Overall, the original V911 was a very nice package deal. However, misses embody the delicate wire-thin skids, versatile frame, glued parts, noisy canopy, flybar strikes, bucking horse flights, incapability to penetrate wind, hypersensitive yaw, and the nostril diving flight characteristics. 
At first look, WL-Toys definitely addressed the body and skids. The frame is now a lot stronger, and so are the touchdown skids. The skids are hooked up to the frame by 2 screws, so that they won’t easily get separated. The canopy is far lighter and more versatile than earlier than.
