Inspired by the Nine Eagles Solo Pro, WL-Toys introduced their first V911 in late 2011. It was their first RC helicopter release and it was an prompt success. Before long, the V911 is a household name. Since its preliminary launch, the V911 notorious “CORTER” typo and the separating swash plate have been mounted. The Rx has gone through many revisions for minor tweaks, and the battery connectors have been modified. Otherwise, the basic V911 design was untouched since its introduction. WL-Toys then shifted their focus to Quadcopters. Despite its big success, the unique V911 will not be with out flaws. This V911-Pro is a protracted overdue replace and an try to repair points. Overall, the original V911 was a very nice package. However, misses include the delicate wire-thin skids, flexible body, glued elements, noisy cover, flybar strikes, bucking horse flights, lack of ability to penetrate wind, hypersensitive yaw, and the nose diving flight traits. 
At first look, WL-Toys definitely addressed the frame and skids. The body is now much stronger, and so are the touchdown skids. The skids are connected to the body by 2 screws, so that they gained’t easily get separated. The canopy is way lighter and more versatile than before.
