Inspired by the Nine Eagles Solo Pro, WL-Toys introduced their first V911 in late 2011. It was their first RC helicopter launch and it was an instantaneous success. Before long, the V911 is a household title. Since its initial launch, the V911 infamous “CORTER” typo and the separating swash plate had been mounted. The Rx has gone by means of many revisions for minor tweaks, and the battery connectors have been modified. Otherwise, the fundamental V911 design was untouched since its introduction. WL-Toys then shifted their focus to Quadcopters. Despite its big success, the original V911 just isn't with out flaws. This V911-Pro is an extended overdue update and an try to repair issues. Overall, the original V911 was a really nice bundle. However, misses include the fragile wire-thin skids, versatile body, glued elements, noisy canopy, flybar strikes, bucking horse flights, incapability to penetrate wind, hypersensitive yaw, and the nostril diving flight traits. 
At first glance, WL-Toys undoubtedly addressed the body and skids. The frame is now a lot stronger, and so are the landing skids. The skids are attached to the frame by 2 screws, so that they received’t easily get separated. The canopy is way lighter and more flexible than earlier than.
