Inspired by the Nine Eagles Solo Pro, WL-Toys launched their first V911 in late 2011. It was their first RC helicopter release and it was an instantaneous success. Overall, the original V911 was a very good package deal. However, misses embrace the delicate wire-thin skids, versatile frame, glued elements, noisy cover, flybar strikes, bucking horse flights, incapacity to penetrate wind, hypersensitive yaw, and the nose diving flight traits. 
At first glance, WL-Toys positively addressed the frame and skids. The frame is now much stronger, and so are the landing skids. The skids are hooked up to the frame by 2 screws, so they won’t easily get separated. The canopy is far lighter and extra versatile than before.
