Inspired by the Nine Eagles Solo Pro, WL-Toys introduced their first V911 in late 2011. It was their first RC helicopter launch and it was an on the spot success. Before long, the V911 is a household identify. Since its preliminary launch, the V911 infamous “CORTER” typo and the separating swash plate were mounted. The Rx has gone via many revisions for minor tweaks, and the battery connectors have been modified. Otherwise, the essential V911 design was untouched since its introduction. WL-Toys then shifted their focus to Quadcopters. Despite its big success, the unique V911 is just not without flaws. This V911-Pro is a long overdue update and an attempt to fix points. Overall, the unique V911 was a really nice bundle. However, misses embody the fragile wire-thin skids, flexible body, glued parts, noisy canopy, flybar strikes, bucking horse flights, incapacity to penetrate wind, hypersensitive yaw, and the nose diving flight traits. 
At first look, WL-Toys undoubtedly addressed the body and skids. The body is now much stronger, and so are the landing skids. The skids are hooked up to the frame by 2 screws, so that they won’t easily get separated. The cover is far lighter and more flexible than before.
