Inspired by the Nine Eagles Solo Pro, WL-Toys launched their first V911 in late 2011. It was their first RC helicopter launch and it was an instant success. Before long, the V911 is a family name. Since its preliminary release, the V911 infamous “CORTER” typo and the separating swash plate were fixed. The Rx has gone by means of many revisions for minor tweaks, and the battery connectors have been changed. Otherwise, the basic V911 design was untouched since its introduction. Overall, the unique V911 was a very good package deal. However, misses embody the fragile wire-thin skids, versatile frame, glued parts, noisy canopy, flybar strikes, bucking horse flights, inability to penetrate wind, hypersensitive yaw, and the nostril diving flight characteristics. 
At first look, WL-Toys positively addressed the frame and skids. The body is now much stronger, and so are the landing skids. The skids are hooked up to the body by 2 screws, so they received’t easily get separated. The cover is much lighter and extra flexible than before.
