Inspired by the Nine Eagles Solo Pro, WL-Toys introduced their first V911 in late 2011. It was their first RC helicopter launch and it was an on the spot success. Before long, the V911 is a household identify. Since its initial launch, the V911 notorious “CORTER” typo and the separating swash plate were fastened. The Rx has gone via many revisions for minor tweaks, and the battery connectors have been changed. Otherwise, the fundamental V911 design was untouched since its introduction. WL-Toys then shifted their focus to Quadcopters. Despite its huge success, the original V911 will not be with out flaws. This V911-Pro is a long overdue update and an try to fix points. So, will this up to date V911-Pro fix the failings of the V911 and take over its reign?

Overall, the unique V911 was a very nice bundle. However, misses embrace the fragile wire-thin skids, flexible body, glued elements, noisy cover, flybar strikes, bucking horse flights, incapacity to penetrate wind, hypersensitive yaw, and the nose diving flight traits. 
At first glance, WL-Toys definitely addressed the frame and skids. The body is now much stronger, and so are the landing skids. The skids are connected to the body by 2 screws, so that they received’t easily get separated. The canopy is way lighter and more flexible than earlier than.
