Inspired by the Nine Eagles Solo Pro, WL-Toys launched their first V911 in late 2011. It was their first RC helicopter launch and it was an instantaneous success. Overall, the original V911 was a very nice bundle. However, misses embody the fragile wire-thin skids, versatile frame, glued elements, noisy cover, flybar strikes, bucking horse flights, lack of ability to penetrate wind, hypersensitive yaw, and the nostril diving flight traits. 
At first glance, WL-Toys definitely addressed the body and skids. The frame is now a lot stronger, and so are the touchdown skids. The skids are connected to the frame by 2 screws, so they gained’t easily get separated. The cover is much lighter and extra flexible than before.
