Inspired by the Nine Eagles Solo Pro, WL-Toys introduced their first V911 in late 2011. It was their first RC helicopter release and it was an instant success. Overall, the original V911 was a very good package. However, misses embrace the delicate wire-thin skids, versatile body, glued parts, noisy canopy, flybar strikes, bucking horse flights, lack of ability to penetrate wind, hypersensitive yaw, and the nostril diving flight traits. 
At first look, WL-Toys definitely addressed the body and skids. The body is now much stronger, and so are the landing skids. The skids are attached to the frame by 2 screws, so that they gained’t easily get separated. The canopy is way lighter and more versatile than earlier than.
