Inspired by the Nine Eagles Solo Pro, WL-Toys introduced their first V911 in late 2011. It was their first RC helicopter launch and it was an on the spot success. Before long, the V911 is a family name. Since its preliminary launch, the V911 infamous “CORTER” typo and the separating swash plate had been fastened. The Rx has gone by way of many revisions for minor tweaks, and the battery connectors have been modified. Otherwise, the basic V911 design was untouched since its introduction. WL-Toys then shifted their focus to Quadcopters. Despite its large success, the original V911 is just not without flaws. This V911-Pro is a long overdue replace and an attempt to fix issues. So, will this up to date V911-Pro repair the failings of the V911 and take over its reign?

Overall, the original V911 was a really good package. However, misses embody the delicate wire-thin skids, versatile frame, glued components, noisy canopy, flybar strikes, bucking horse flights, incapacity to penetrate wind, hypersensitive yaw, and the nostril diving flight characteristics. 
At first look, WL-Toys positively addressed the frame and skids. The frame is now much stronger, and so are the touchdown skids. The skids are attached to the frame by 2 screws, in order that they won’t easily get separated. The cover is far lighter and more versatile than before. 

New V911 V2 Pro Review, How it compares to the old V911 & my very first fight even though it was a little windy outside. I love this heli it will be my go to heli. Easy to fly right out of the box with just a little trim. Parts are easier to replace with the just a couple screws holding tail and landing skids on. The Landing skids are more solid and will hold up to much more crashes than the old skids. Canopy is made with a tougher skin. The gyro seems faster to me than the older V911's. I bought this BNF heli with 5 200 mah batteries for 28.00 from banggood.com I did buy an extra charger for couple bucks to help charge all the new style batteries. All old V911 radio's with bind with this heli that's why I didn't buy the entire package. I am getting about 7:50 of flight time at this point. From beginners to experienced pilots you need to buy this heli its better than the old V911 in my opinion.
