Overall, the original V911 was a very good bundle. However, misses include the delicate wire-thin skids, versatile body, glued components, noisy canopy, flybar strikes, bucking horse flights, lack of ability to penetrate wind, hypersensitive yaw, and the nose diving flight traits. 
At first glance, WL-Toys definitely addressed the body and skids. The body is now much stronger, and so are the touchdown skids. The skids are connected to the frame by 2 screws, so they received’t easily get separated. The canopy is far lighter and more flexible than earlier than.
