Inspired by the Nine Eagles Solo Pro, WL-Toys introduced their first V911 in late 2011. It was their first RC helicopter release and it was an on the spot success. Overall, the unique V911 was a very good bundle. However, misses embrace the fragile wire-thin skids, flexible body, glued elements, noisy canopy, flybar strikes, bucking horse flights, lack of ability to penetrate wind, hypersensitive yaw, and the nose diving flight traits. 
At first look, WL-Toys definitely addressed the body and skids. The frame is now a lot stronger, and so are the landing skids. The skids are connected to the frame by 2 screws, in order that they received’t easily get separated. The cover is far lighter and extra versatile than before.
