Inspired by the Nine Eagles Solo Pro, WL-Toys introduced their first V911 in late 2011. It was their first RC helicopter launch and it was an prompt success. Before long, the V911 is a household identify. Since its preliminary release, the V911 infamous “CORTER” typo and the separating swash plate have been fixed. The Rx has gone through many revisions for minor tweaks, and the battery connectors have been changed. Otherwise, the basic V911 design was untouched since its introduction. WL-Toys then shifted their focus to Quadcopters. Despite its large success, the unique V911 isn't without flaws. This V911-Pro is an extended overdue replace and an attempt to repair issues. So, will this updated V911-Pro fix the flaws of the V911 and take over its reign?

Overall, the original V911 was a very good package deal. However, misses embody the delicate wire-thin skids, flexible body, glued parts, noisy canopy, flybar strikes, bucking horse flights, lack of ability to penetrate wind, hypersensitive yaw, and the nostril diving flight characteristics. 
At first look, WL-Toys undoubtedly addressed the body and skids. The body is now much stronger, and so are the landing skids. The skids are connected to the body by 2 screws, so that they gained’t easily get separated. The canopy is way lighter and more flexible than earlier than.
