Inspired by the Nine Eagles Solo Pro, WL-Toys launched their first V911 in late 2011. It was their first RC helicopter launch and it was an prompt success. Before long, the V911 is a family title. Overall, the original V911 was a very nice package deal. However, misses embrace the delicate wire-thin skids, flexible frame, glued parts, noisy canopy, flybar strikes, bucking horse flights, incapability to penetrate wind, hypersensitive yaw, and the nose diving flight characteristics. 
At first look, WL-Toys undoubtedly addressed the body and skids. The body is now much stronger, and so are the touchdown skids. The skids are attached to the frame by 2 screws, so that they won’t easily get separated. The cover is much lighter and extra flexible than before.
