Inspired by the Nine Eagles Solo Pro, WL-Toys introduced their first V911 in late 2011. It was their first RC helicopter release and it was an instant success. Overall, the original V911 was a very nice bundle. However, misses include the delicate wire-thin skids, flexible frame, glued components, noisy canopy, flybar strikes, bucking horse flights, incapacity to penetrate wind, hypersensitive yaw, and the nostril diving flight traits. 
At first glance, WL-Toys undoubtedly addressed the frame and skids. The body is now a lot stronger, and so are the touchdown skids. The skids are connected to the frame by 2 screws, so that they gained’t simply get separated. The cover is far lighter and extra flexible than before.
