Overall, the original V911 was a really good bundle. However, misses include the delicate wire-thin skids, flexible frame, glued components, noisy canopy, flybar strikes, bucking horse flights, lack of ability to penetrate wind, hypersensitive yaw, and the nose diving flight characteristics. 
At first look, WL-Toys undoubtedly addressed the frame and skids. The frame is now much stronger, and so are the landing skids. The skids are connected to the body by 2 screws, so they received’t easily get separated. The cover is much lighter and more flexible than earlier than.
