Inspired by the Nine Eagles Solo Pro, WL-Toys launched their first V911 in late 2011. It was their first RC helicopter launch and it was an immediate success. Before long, the V911 is a family name. Since its initial release, the V911 notorious “CORTER” typo and the separating swash plate have been fastened. Overall, the unique V911 was a really nice package. However, misses include the delicate wire-thin skids, versatile body, glued elements, noisy cover, flybar strikes, bucking horse flights, inability to penetrate wind, hypersensitive yaw, and the nose diving flight characteristics. 
At first look, WL-Toys undoubtedly addressed the frame and skids. The body is now a lot stronger, and so are the touchdown skids. The skids are attached to the frame by 2 screws, so that they won’t easily get separated. The cover is far lighter and extra flexible than earlier than.
