Inspired by the Nine Eagles Solo Pro, WL-Toys introduced their first V911 in late 2011. It was their first RC helicopter release and it was an instantaneous success. Overall, the unique V911 was a really nice bundle. However, misses include the delicate wire-thin skids, flexible body, glued parts, noisy canopy, flybar strikes, bucking horse flights, lack of ability to penetrate wind, hypersensitive yaw, and the nose diving flight traits. 
At first look, WL-Toys positively addressed the body and skids. The body is now much stronger, and so are the touchdown skids. The skids are hooked up to the frame by 2 screws, in order that they won’t simply get separated. The cover is way lighter and extra versatile than before.
