Inspired by the Nine Eagles Solo Pro, WL-Toys launched their first V911 in late 2011. It was their first RC helicopter launch and it was an on the spot success. Before long, the V911 is a family identify. Since its preliminary release, the V911 notorious “CORTER” typo and the separating swash plate were fastened. The Rx has gone by means of many revisions for minor tweaks, and the battery connectors have been changed. Otherwise, the essential V911 design was untouched since its introduction. Overall, the original V911 was a really nice package. However, misses embrace the fragile wire-thin skids, versatile body, glued components, noisy cover, flybar strikes, bucking horse flights, incapacity to penetrate wind, hypersensitive yaw, and the nostril diving flight traits. 
At first glance, WL-Toys definitely addressed the body and skids. The frame is now much stronger, and so are the touchdown skids. The skids are connected to the body by 2 screws, in order that they won’t simply get separated. The cover is much lighter and extra flexible than before.
