Inspired by the Nine Eagles Solo Pro, WL-Toys introduced their first V911 in late 2011. It was their first RC helicopter release and it was an immediate success. Overall, the unique V911 was a really nice bundle. However, misses embrace the delicate wire-thin skids, versatile body, glued parts, noisy canopy, flybar strikes, bucking horse flights, lack of ability to penetrate wind, hypersensitive yaw, and the nostril diving flight characteristics. 
At first glance, WL-Toys definitely addressed the body and skids. The body is now a lot stronger, and so are the touchdown skids. The skids are hooked up to the body by 2 screws, so they received’t simply get separated. The canopy is much lighter and extra flexible than before.
