Inspired by the Nine Eagles Solo Pro, WL-Toys introduced their first V911 in late 2011. It was their first RC helicopter launch and it was an on the spot success. Before long, the V911 is a household name. Since its initial release, the V911 notorious “CORTER” typo and the separating swash plate were mounted. Overall, the original V911 was a very good package deal. However, misses embrace the fragile wire-thin skids, flexible frame, glued parts, noisy cover, flybar strikes, bucking horse flights, inability to penetrate wind, hypersensitive yaw, and the nostril diving flight characteristics. 
At first glance, WL-Toys definitely addressed the frame and skids. The frame is now much stronger, and so are the touchdown skids. The skids are hooked up to the body by 2 screws, in order that they received’t easily get separated. The canopy is far lighter and more flexible than before.
