Inspired by the Nine Eagles Solo Pro, WL-Toys launched their first V911 in late 2011. It was their first RC helicopter release and it was an immediate success. Before long, the V911 is a family name. Since its preliminary launch, the V911 notorious “CORTER” typo and the separating swash plate had been fastened. Overall, the unique V911 was a very nice bundle. However, misses include the delicate wire-thin skids, versatile frame, glued elements, noisy cover, flybar strikes, bucking horse flights, inability to penetrate wind, hypersensitive yaw, and the nose diving flight traits. 
At first glance, WL-Toys positively addressed the frame and skids. The frame is now much stronger, and so are the landing skids. The skids are connected to the frame by 2 screws, so they received’t simply get separated. The cover is far lighter and more flexible than before.
