Overall, the unique V911 was a very nice package deal. However, misses include the fragile wire-thin skids, flexible body, glued parts, noisy canopy, flybar strikes, bucking horse flights, incapacity to penetrate wind, hypersensitive yaw, and the nostril diving flight characteristics. 
At first glance, WL-Toys definitely addressed the body and skids. The body is now much stronger, and so are the landing skids. The skids are attached to the body by 2 screws, in order that they won’t easily get separated. The canopy is much lighter and more flexible than earlier than.
