Overall, the original V911 was a really nice package deal. However, misses embrace the fragile wire-thin skids, versatile frame, glued parts, noisy cover, flybar strikes, bucking horse flights, lack of ability to penetrate wind, hypersensitive yaw, and the nostril diving flight characteristics. 
At first glance, WL-Toys positively addressed the body and skids. The body is now a lot stronger, and so are the touchdown skids. The skids are attached to the body by 2 screws, in order that they received’t easily get separated. The canopy is way lighter and extra flexible than earlier than. 

This is the second in a continuing series of ‘that was then, this is now’ videos demonstrating piloting skills. Not really showing any kind of trick flying, just some basic maneuvers. Even though this is nowhere near three D flight I do manage some circles, banks, loops, strafes, spins and funnels along with ff and bf. Also working on some video production technique including video FX and music.
I am featuring the V911 Pro, as it is right now the best indoor flyer that I own. I can fly the V912 and the V913 in my living room that being quite large however, the best flight for those two is definitely outdoors. The V911 can fly outdoors but any kind of wind or breezes at all and it can be gone in about 3 seconds. Its small size certainly limits the outdoor range as it doesn’t take long to get out of sight. So I pretty much limit my flights with the V911 to indoors. So far I’ve had pretty good luck with that at a very minimal amount of crashes.
So hopefully these videos are not only entertaining but also educational for anyone who’s just learning to fly RC helicopters. So if your goal is like mine, to improve your piloting skills than maybe you’ll enjoy these videos. I think it was RC groups were I read that flying is taking off and landing without crashing. Guess it’s kind of important then to learn not to crash. So that’s why I subtitled this video as “more flight ~~ less crash”
