Inspired by the Nine Eagles Solo Pro, WL-Toys launched their first V911 in late 2011. It was their first RC helicopter release and it was an on the spot success. Before long, the V911 is a household name. Since its initial launch, the V911 notorious “CORTER” typo and the separating swash plate have been fixed. The Rx has gone through many revisions for minor tweaks, and the battery connectors have been modified. Otherwise, the fundamental V911 design was untouched since its introduction. WL-Toys then shifted their focus to Quadcopters. Despite its big success, the unique V911 is just not without flaws. This V911-Pro is an extended overdue update and an attempt to repair issues. So, will this updated V911-Pro repair the flaws of the V911 and take over its reign?

Overall, the original V911 was a very nice package. However, misses embrace the fragile wire-thin skids, versatile body, glued parts, noisy cover, flybar strikes, bucking horse flights, incapability to penetrate wind, hypersensitive yaw, and the nose diving flight characteristics. 
At first look, WL-Toys positively addressed the frame and skids. The frame is now a lot stronger, and so are the landing skids. The skids are hooked up to the body by 2 screws, so that they received’t easily get separated. The cover is far lighter and more versatile than before.

WL Toys came out with a legendary mini helicopter called the V911. This little rc helicopter is most notable for its super affordable price tag (under $50), it's incredible durability, and performance. It is insanely fun to fly for beginners and experienced fliers.
Main Upgrades on the V911 Pro:
1. Stronger landing gear that does a better job at keeping the rc heli from tipping over.
2. Larger battery will give you 1-2 minutes of extra flight time.
3. Lighter canopy that looks more modern and aerodynamic.
